Midwest Construction installed custom built ProVia, Endure Vinyl Replacement windows into the 1914, Mason City, Iowa farmhouse. This is a Midwest Construction past customer that loved the worked we did on their siding and called back for windows. This home was built in 1918 with single pane wood sash windows, aluminum storm windows, and wheel weight pockets letting in drafts and letting out energy. Our crews install one window at a time. The new windows will be plum and level, then all openings will be insulated with Boss Extreme Weather Foam to prevent any air or water infiltration. All of the exterior sills, casings and trim work have been covered with custom bent aluminum coil stock. All of the construction debris will be cleaned up and hauled away. The first thing these homeowners will notice is the home will be warmer, 2nd the home will be quieter, that means the windows are saving energy!
